Free tools for contractors

Calculators, fillable templates, on-site checklists, and contracts for trade businesses. Every one of them runs in your browser.

There are 47 tools on this page. Each one is a working page, not a form standing in front of a download. You open it, you type your numbers in, you get an answer. Nothing gets emailed to you, and nothing gets emailed to us.

They run in your browser

The math happens on your phone or your laptop, inside the page itself. Nothing is sent to a server. We don't store your numbers, we can't see them, and there's no account to create. That cuts both ways: your figures stay yours, and you have to save or print anything you want to keep. Close the tab and the numbers are gone.

What's here

The calculators price work and check the math behind it. Margin on a single job, the hourly rate you need to charge, the billable rate for an employed tech, route pricing for snow and pet waste, chemical dosing for pools, load sizing for HVAC. The templates are fillable forms you print or save as a PDF: estimates, work orders, invoices, a dispatch board. The checklists are the on-site kind, the ones a tech fills out standing in a crawl space or on a roof. The contracts cover the terms that turn into arguments later if nobody wrote them down.

How the estimates relate to Claver

A calculator here gives you one number for one job. The pricebooks inside Claver are that same idea, kept permanent. Instead of retyping labor and material rates every time you quote, you set them once per service and every quote pulls from them. Claver ships with a pricebook for 50 trades, so most of the rates you'd type into these calculators are already sitting in the app, ready to be moved to your market. Run a job through a calculator here and you've got a sanity check on what the pricebook is telling you to charge.

Read the results as estimates

Every number on these pages is a starting point. The HVAC load calculator is a rule of thumb, not a Manual J. The valuation calculator uses published field service multiples, not an appraisal. Local labor rates, dump fees, and permit costs move these figures more than anything a browser tool can see. Check a result against a job you've already finished before you quote off it, and adjust the inputs until it matches what really happened.

The tools are grouped below by what they do, then listed again by trade. If you run one trade, the trade list is the faster way in. The filter chips narrow the grid if you'd rather do it that way.

Keep the numbers when the job is booked

Inside Claver the estimate becomes the quote you send, and the quote becomes the invoice you get paid on, so nobody retypes a price between the driveway and the bank.
