What a pressure washing estimate should include

A complete estimate sets clear expectations before work starts and gives the customer everything they need to say yes with confidence.

  • Customer and property details. Name, phone, service address, and access notes (gate code, water spigot location, pets on site)
  • Scope of work. What is being cleaned and how, pressure washed or soft washed, and any surfaces excluded
  • Surfaces by square foot. Driveway, house siding, deck, and roof soft wash, each measured and priced on its own line
  • Add-ons. Gutter brightening, rust or oil stain treatment, and window rinsing, broken out so the customer can add or decline each one
  • Minimum charge. The floor price that applies if the job comes in smaller than the minimum, stated up front so there is no surprise
  • Chemicals and method. What cleaning solution is used and how landscaping and property are protected during the wash
  • Weather policy. What happens if rain cancels the appointment (rescheduled, no charge for the reschedule)
  • Payment schedule. Deposit required to schedule, balance due on completion, and accepted payment methods

Keep the numbers when the job is booked

Inside Claver the same estimate becomes the quote you send, and the quote becomes the invoice you get paid on, so nobody retypes a price between the driveway and the bank.

Pressure washing estimate template FAQ

What should a pressure washing estimate include?
The customer and job site details, each surface measured in square feet (driveway, siding, deck, roof soft wash), any add-ons like gutter brightening or rust treatment, the minimum charge that applies if the job comes in small, a validity date for the price, and the payment terms.
Is this really free?
Yes, the estimate template is free with no signup, no credit card, and no data stored on a server, so the customer information stays on the device that filled it in.
Can customers approve a pressure washing estimate in Claver?
Yes, customers can review and pay a deposit on a pressure washing estimate from the link, and the approval flows straight into the job schedule without anyone in the office retyping anything. E-signature is on the Crew plan.
How do you measure square footage for a pressure washing estimate?
Measure length times width for flat surfaces like driveways and patios. For house siding, measure the linear footage of each wall times the wall height, then subtract large openings like garage doors. Roofs are usually measured by roof square footage, not the footprint of the house below.
Why do pressure washing companies charge a minimum?
Drive time, equipment setup and breakdown, and water or fuel cost stay roughly the same whether the job is 200 square feet or 2,000. A minimum charge covers that fixed cost so small jobs, like a single walkway or a short driveway apron, are not priced below what it costs to show up.
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses high water pressure alone, suited to hard, durable surfaces like concrete and pavers. Soft washing uses low pressure with a cleaning solution to remove algae, mold, and mildew from more delicate surfaces like roof shingles, siding, and painted wood, without the pressure that could cause damage.
Should add-ons be priced separately on a pressure washing estimate?
Yes. Add-ons like gutter brightening, rust or oil stain treatment, and window rinsing are easy for a customer to add or decline when they are broken out as their own line, instead of buried inside one flat number for the whole job.
