A complete agreement sets expectations on both sides, protects the technician from liability disputes, and gives the customer a clear record of what they signed up for.

• Customer and property details — the customer's name, service address, best phone and email, and the access instructions for the yard (gate code, dog behavior notes, lock combination if applicable)
• Pet information — the number of dogs, breed, any aggressive or unpredictable behavior notes, and whether the dogs are kept inside or outside during service
• Service scope — which areas of the property are included in the service (backyard, front yard, side runs, dog run, patio), which are excluded, and whether waste is bagged and left at the curb or carried off the property
• Frequency and schedule — how often service is provided (weekly, twice-weekly, biweekly), the day of the week scheduled, and the expected arrival window
• Pricing and billing — the monthly rate, the billing date, the accepted payment methods, and any late fee or returned payment fee
• Skip and bad weather policy — whether a visit is rescheduled, credited, or skipped if weather prevents service, and what happens if the technician cannot access the yard on a scheduled visit
• Gate and pet policy — what the technician does if the gate is locked or a dog is in the yard unattended (skip and notify vs. attempt service), and the customer's responsibility to keep the gate accessible
• Cancellation terms — the notice period required to cancel (typically 3 to 7 days before next scheduled visit), and whether a pro-rated refund applies for prepaid months
