01Who sends the messages & who receives them
Claver is a field-service-management platform. When a business owner creates a Claver account, Claver sends them account and service text messages — for example, two-factor-authentication (2FA) security codes, technician and job-status alerts, and important account notifications. The recipient is the account holder who signed up and provided their own mobile number. These are informational / transactional messages only. We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this consent.
02How consent is collected (the opt-in)
Consent is collected on the Claver signup form at goclaver.com (open any "Get started" button). The mobile number field is optional, and directly beneath it is an unchecked consent checkbox. A customer must affirmatively check the box to receive texts — it is never pre-checked, and checking it is not required to create an account or purchase a plan. If the box is left unchecked, we send no text messages.
This is a faithful reproduction of what the customer sees at signup:

The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not a condition of signing up or paying. Consent is stored with a timestamp as an audit record.
03The exact consent language
The customer agrees to the following text when they check the box:
"Text me account alerts, job notifications, and 2FA codes from Claver at this number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. SMS Terms & Privacy Policy."
04What the messages look like
- Message frequency varies by account activity — typically a few messages per week.
- Message and data rates may apply. Claver doesn't charge for texts; your mobile carrier may.
- Every message identifies the sender ("Claver") and every message supports STOP.
05Opt-out (STOP) & help (HELP)
Customers can opt out at any time. Opt-out is enforced by Twilio at the carrier level and by Claver at the application level.
STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT all opt the customer out (case-insensitive). Reply HELP for the sender's contact information.
06Privacy of opt-in data
Claver does not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. That data is used only to deliver the messages the customer asked for. Full detail in our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
